This is a wonderful tiny documentary on Van Damme and Lundgren's careers, that's throughly interesting!. It's extremely well done, and i happen to be a HUGE HUGE HUGE fanatic of Van Damme, and a large fanatic of Lundgren, so i couldn't wait to check it out it was on the unique details disc of the fresh unique edition of Universial Soldier!. I was simply fascinated by this documentary as Van Damme's stories and comments bout there film careers and growing up were awesome!, plus, it had some very funny clips as well!. Both seem to be extremely great guys, and The Director's comments were really cool too!. One of my favourite moments of this documentary, is when Van Damme and Lundgren have a confrontation as Van Damme jokingly bugs Lundgren about being everytime late, so Lundgren tells "who's this guy? he an extra". This is a wonderful tiny documentary on Van Damme and Lundgren's career that's throughly interesting i tell Go check it out now!. ***** out of 5
This is the shorter of the two featurettes on the 2-Disc Unique Edition DVD of Universal Soldier, at just over 14 mins of running time. It consists of a sit-down interview with every star, behind-the-scenes footage and clips of the movie. They go over how and where they grew up, how they got into body-builder/martial arts(years before their action flick stardom) and what movie they started on. It's inter-cut so that each time one of them has continued their own storyline to a specific stopping point, the another ones goes on until they reach that same part, and so on and so forth. They're cool enough to listen to, and if you wish to know about their youth and a (rather brief) retelling of their career, or at least how it started, this will satisfy that nicely. Hearing Lundgren talk about his part in Rocky IV is some of the most interesting of this, I would say. He expresses himself well, and seems to really receive into his characters. This is well-edited and paced nicely. There isn't particularly anything offensive in this, apart from a powerful word or two similar to titles. I suggest this to fanatics of either or both of the actors. 7/10
