disinfoTV on DVD #

Released 2/28/2006

Description: How far do you have to go to go too far for television? Disinformation found out with its own tv present on the UK's Channel 4 TV Network. DisinfoTV on DVD, hosted by Disinformation co-founder Richard Metzger, is a present that acts like a tv newsmagazine on speed, filled with enough counter culture propaganda, that according to Wired magazine, "makes Jackass look tame." The present challenged Channel 4's censors when it originally aired and resulted in the network refusing to broadcast certain segments. What did create it into people's homes became an immediate classic of the weird and unusual, and the series was a hit. Eventually purchased by the Sci-Fi Channel for the United States, it was considered too controversial and never aired in America. In this DVD, you'll see everything as it was intended; including the banned segments.

Programming The Nation? #

Released 8/19/2011

Description: Programming the Nation? takes an encompassing look at the history of subliminal messaging in America. Even our modern military has been accused of these practices in the "war on terror" vs troops and civilians both abroad and at home. With eye-opening footage, revealing interviews, humorous anecdotes, and an array of visual effects, the movie categorically explores the alleged usage of subliminals in advertising, music, film, television, anti-theft devices, political propaganda, military psychological operations, and advanced weapons development. Director Jeff Warrick makes it his private point to determine if these manipulative strategies have succeeded in "programming the nation?"
