Unlike Red Riding Hoodwinked, Tweet and Sour and Hyde and Go Tweet which I was familiar with for a long time, I didn't see Tweety's Circus until very recently. And I absolutely loved it, it is hilarious and for me one of the better and funnier Sylvester and Tweety cartoons. The animation is plentiful in the colours and fluid in the backgrounds, while the melody as it typically is is rousing and energetic. The writing maintains its freshness, but the revelations were the sight gags my favorite being the one where the lion grabs Sylvester's whip and lashes him back and forth. Tweety himself is nice and quite active, but he is sidelined by the elephant and especially the lion. Sylvester though steals the show, he is lovable while being quite full of himself at the same time, and throughout he is comedy gold resuming his usual role of providing the laughs. Overall, hilarious. 10/10 Bethany Cox
Sylvester visits a circus and tries to present a lion who the true "king of the cats" is. And, of course, create a food out of Tweety. Sylvester is very funny in this one. I especially love his tiny "meow" song and the fire-eater scene. The animation is perfect with well-drawn characters and backgrounds and nice action; love the colors. The circus backdrop provides for a great change of pace and a possibility for Sylvester to interact with someone besides Tweety or Granny. Some fun gags and lines in this one. Everything with the lion is hilarious. Really a fun cartoon that each fanatic of Sylvester and Tweety could see at least once.
Sylvester notices a circus in city and goes to pay a visit. As he walks around the animals he mocks the lion before noticing a Tweety bird in a cage. He goes after the bird but the lion and elephant are all too satisfied to support Tweety out.I'm not a large fanatic of Tweety himself, although I do like his shorts where he is quite active as opposed to just sort of hanging around while Sylvester does all the work. However here he is supported by a lion and an elephant - both of whom give Sylvester a tough time. The action is all cute funny and I laughed out loud most of the method through it.Tweety is cute active but it is the lion that is the greatest partner for Sylvester. Although, needless to say, it is Sylvester who does all the difficult work and he is very, very funny throughout.Overall this is one of the greatest Tweety cartoons I've seen in a long time. Laugh out loud funny with nice imaginative routines and nice reactions from Sylvester whenever he realises what's really going on.
