The Unknown Tour 2019
Description: Ruled by social media and internet fame, today's melody industry has become much more about industry and much less about music. We judge melody by the numbers associated with it, and often times we listen with our eyes. This phenomenon inspired a group of melody industry dropouts to embark on a 10,000-mile tour through large towns and tiny cities in find of talented musicians that have fallen through the cracks. The point is to make an album of original music, produced on the street in a collaborate manner, that says the stories of our unsung musical heroes

Geschichte der Nacht #

Released 11/30/1979

Description: It’s a black-and-white record of European towns in the dark (2-5am), from Basle to Belfast. Quiet, and meditative, what emerges most strongly is an eerie sense of town landscapes as deserted movie sets, in which the desolate architecture overwhelms any sense of reality. The only reassurance that we are not in some unlimited machine-Metropolis is the shadow of daytime activity: a juggernaut plunging through a darkened village, a plague of tiny birds in the predawn light. The entire thing is underscored by a pretty ‘composed’ soundtrack, from quietly humming streetlights to reggae and the rumble of armoured vehicles in Belfast. A strange and remarkable combination of dream, documentary and science-fiction.
