By forcing tv to convulse like a raving lunatic, we might finally hear what it is now saying.
Description: This documentary is a adventure into our own fascination, a collection of portraits of folk musicians living in Fresh England, and a study of the ground on which their melody is founded. First and foremost, Behind a Hill is a tribute to these musicians and a rare peep into the house parties and basement jams of Fresh England, in the northwestern corner of the USA, with the vain hope attached that maybe you, the viewer, will grow as fond of the melody as we have. When we first encountered these musicians, we were overwhelmed by the quality of their musical output. We were entranced by the melodies, harmonies, rhythms, and tempos and each another element that constitutes a song (or, as is often the case, a piece of abstract drone music, massive feedback, or someone banging a steel pipe vs a bag of dirt while chanting in a yet undiscovered language, or...).

This featurette is found on some DVDs for The Matrix, and one of the 10 discs in the Ultimate release. One has to wonder what the mission particularly is of this, and if they by the game are referring to idea *art*, as that is one of the two things this consists of that aren't simply clips from the movie, for comparison. This has no interviews, no explanations, and essentially no information. What it is, however, in addition to what I've already mentioned, is footage of the process behind making effects, meaning, seeing them at various stages, with a tiny behind-the-scenes that one can then attempt to piece together to determine how the animation was achieved, and/or, I suppose, see how it went from concept to current visual. Running at almost 11 and a half minutes, in spite of not being downright slow in pace, especially considering what this is, it's cute boring. It can even be argued to keep spoilers, so you may not even wish to watch it before seeing the game itself. There is no offensive material in this. I suggest this only to those out there who just *have to* view each single unique that comes with buying the film. 5/10
