Description: A century ago, from February to December 1916, the French and Germans provided a superhuman effort to control a several hills in eastern France, located in front of Verdun . A frontal confrontation, conducted without the support of their allies, units vs army, nation vs nation. Today, this war seems absurd to us. Because it has caused almost as many casualties in every camp and its strategic utility has never really been demonstrated. But in 1916, troops on both sides did not consider it absurd: they accepted to fight. Why ? By reliving the rare Herculean confrontation of our ancestors, using reconstructions made in the 1920s, using a huge number of animated computer-generated photos that recreate the topography of the battlefield, this documentary returns, with the support of the historical adviser Paul Jankowski , on the last nice win won alone by France vs Germany.

He is the great-grandfather of Moise Merlin Mabouna. The video is less intended to contribute to a comprehensive acc of history than to question the contexts of forms of knowledge and memory where representations become plausible and powerful. Here, the return of the Ndjaman to Brandenburg promises a future that will be post-colonial because it transcontinentalizes the voice of its history and has the construction of a 'here' and a 'elsewhere'.

Hill had inside access to the Katz campaign and although rebuffed by the Road campaign, managed to receive footage. Twenty-seven days before the election an FBI bug was found in the mayor s office. It looked like 1904 all over again-blatant corruption. The discovery of the bug at first seemed like a death knell to the Road campaign and a near certain win for Katz. Grace in the ‘nets’ to D. G. Bradman and Denis Compton in the thread of the ‘Test’. The history of the minigame is epitomized in the Long Room shots at Lord’s and from there the camera moves to the village green; to the London side- road where the urchins enjoy on a ‘bumping pitch’; to South Africa, and India, where in the ‘blinding light’ there is often ‘an hour to enjoy and the last boy in.

As we learn moments later, the boy in the distance is Susana’s father – and this is the clearest photo of him we will have. Suddenly, an mad British boy demands that Susana cease filming. Susana protests in heavily accented English, “He is my father!” Glimpses of a man’s torso are followed by blurred photos as the camera spins rapidly over surfaces. The photo cuts to black. A fresh male voice asks in carefully spaced out words if Susana would like him to call the police. When she doesn’t reply immediately, he speaks louder, as though volume would compensate for the language difference. She gives her name; she refuses the offer of an ambulance.

I never thought a documentary about dick tricks should be so entertaining! In the beginning of this film, I found myself being almost prudish to this topics matter- after all it was a documentary about two stand-up comedians who enjoy with their genitals.Produced and directed by radio and tv guru, Mick Malloy- this taboo subject becomes a hilarious insight to a controversial yet somewhat juvenile style of comedy of a scene performance entitled Puppetry of the Penis. Yet it is fully hilarious to watch these two brave boys and their explicit humour. Although 'Tackle Happy' is not for everyone, some folks might search it offensive or tasteless! I thought it was cute funny and entertaining but unfortunately it didn't discover the two characters or the opposing views to the topics matter enough. It merely relied on the shock value that the two main characters test to display the special but limited brand of humour. Either way, 'Tackle Happy' becomes a road-movie style documentary about two unknown comedians that proves to be quite funny. *** out of *****!
As a long time listener of Martin Molloy on Australian Radio I had often heard of the comedy show, Puppetry of the Penis. So when I saw that this video was in stores, I just had to rush out and hire it.Basically, Tackle Satisfied is a documentary, following a two boy comedy act around Australia. What makes this film special is that the act in question is the two boys getting up on scene wearing only hats and capes and manipulating their genitals into a tons of strange and hilarious impressions or "Installations" as they call them. The Film follows the duo around Australia in their rusted out old comby van, from Melbourne to Sydney to Brisbane and on around the far northern reaches of Australia all the method over to Perth, in the Australian south-west (a adventure of many thousands of miles, through desert and bushfire). It also shows the problem they encounter with licensing boards and a general reluctance on the part of the media to publicize such an act.Obviously this film is not to everyones tastes (to be expected from a film which is filled with close ups of male genitalia) but if you are prepared to watch it should be quite an enjoyable experience. Watch out for the "Hot Dog", the "Wristwatch", the "Slow Moving Mollusc" and the "Whipper Snipper" (OUCH!) which are my favorite Installations. If you play genital humour, this is the film for you. If not, check it out anyway. You may be pleasantly surprised.
If you eventually decide to look past the dick tricks you'll witness a unbelievable portrait of audiences keen to laugh and harmlessly immerse themselves in an escape from life and the bigotry of sexuality.Mick Molloy's movie is a legacy that certain taboos in society can be nullified by expression. There's no sexual content here, rather the demystifying evidence that a genital is offensive. Mick Molloy is one of my all time favorite Australian comedians and his dual role as, filmmaker-interviewer and radio promoter of the "Puppetry Of The Penis" present through his drive-time present with Tony Martin, MARTIN-MOLLOY - should be construed as a propagandistic piece to help his close mate and penis puppeteer, Simon Morley, but that's only if you're p***ed at him. This is a unbelievable film. In the same league as Chris Smith's American MOVIE which depicted the same ambition albeit in a much more society friendly guise.Don't be deterred by the topics matter - It's goes beyond it and reveals an encouragement to any of us who feels we might fail outside of society's expectations.10/10!
