Description: With the news of his passing flooding newspaper headlines, and millions of fanatics paying tribute to him on social media, David Bowie's departure has left a tag on many all over the world. Known as a musical chameleon, Bowie was able to flow and adapt his melody and style to actual fashion and trends. Prior to his breakthrough in 1972, he recorded a proto-metal record and a pop/rock album, eventually redefining glam rock with his ambiguously sexy Ziggy Stardust persona. Ziggy made Bowie an international star, yet he wasn't content with gleaming mere glitter rock. Every one of his phases in the '70s sparked a number of subgenres, including punk, fresh wave, goth rock, the fresh romantics, and electronica. Several rock heroes ever had such lasting impact. With just two days after his 69th birthday and the uncannily timed release of his most poignant album ‘Blackstar’, he left his fanatics with a parting gift that will solidify his already indelible tag in melody history.

On the brink of the Globe War, and with Germany and England showing nice interest in this invention, is it too farfetched to trust that these deaths were more than coincidental. - Written by Michael Schmidt-Olsen

Description: This movie was provoked by a trip on the overhead railway through the centre of Chicago in 1991. I filmed a twelve minute piece facing forwards in the direction we were driving. Three years soon I came across the movie material once more. The memory of it had faded, and its photos were just as vague. So I worked on the material using a bleaching bath. The complex, cuboid-like architecture of the town came out in a use of the substantial and then sank back into the minority - dissolving to a lump of cosmic dust. I was first able to identify a projection of the experienced, within the undercurrent of disintegration. (Jurgen Reble)
