He has carefully created an photo of himself as a charming Sunday's child, loved by everyone. But who is he really? Director John Albert spent a year with Campert, quietly documenting his daily life (the everyday minigame of scrabble with his wife Deborah, a cup of tea, a cigarette, a glass of wine), as well as more intimate moments such as his admission to the hospital and conversations with his daughters and friends. He turns out to be a boy of several words - at least verbally - but his poems say a storyline of melancholy, mortality and approaching death. Fortunately, his writing keeps him going: "Poetry is an act of affirmation. I affirm that I am alive."

Description: For three years, Jérôme Tanon attached a $250 Sony video camera to his main SLR using a pole and some gaffer tape. As he followed some of the world’s greatest riders around the world, this tiny camcorder was continuously rolling, filling up card after card with each journey, each takeoff, each landing, each slam, each kicker-build, each mad outburst, each shared joke, each bit of goofballing, each nature poo, each minigame of UNO (and there were many minigames of UNO), each booze-filled night; the list goes on. Tanon condenses this formidable mountain of candid footage into a warts-and-all exposé of professional snowboarding that is in turns brutal, cynical and hilarious. But above all, it is honest.
