Sonata dlya Gitlera #

Released 1/1/1989

Description: As with so many early movies by Sokurov, this movie has two dates: the first is the date of its creation (the movie was then banned), the second is the date of the final edition and legal public screening. The movie consists of German and Soviet archive footage of the Globe Fight II — to be exact, from the end of the war. An attempt to create a large–scale documentary on this topics had been undertaken in the Soviet cinema of the 1960s: the movie — “Ordinary Fascism” — by the outstanding Soviet film–maker Mikhail Romm had become a classic retrospective investigation of fascism. But Sokurov uses the expressive power of the documentary photo in an absolutely various way. He does not amass materials for a large–scale picture of Nazi crimes.

Description: For more than a century folks have refreshed themselves with oceans of brown fluid. Much of this fluid was produced by one Atlanta-based company, and Coca-Cola: The History of an American Icon offers a panegyric to the True Thing. The history of Coke is the history of its advertising, and this documentary draws on a rich archive of print, film, and tv material to present how John Pemberton's soda recipe became such a potent symbol of American society. Coca-Cola: The History of an American Icon is, unsurprisingly, a one-sided history. There is no recommendation that the Coca-Colonization of the planet might have a downside, and lines like "If the world's having a terrible time, it's OK because there's still Coke" are delivered without a tip of irony. Nevertheless, this documentary offers some fascinating insights into the history of Coca-Cola.

Description: If the cityscapes and patriotic anthems of this movie seem a far cry from the bleak landscape of Seoul Train, that's no accident. A Day in the Life, largely dictated by the North Korean movie bureau, follows a typical North Korean family through their everyday duties, largely dedicated to the pride in the North Korean nation of comrades and the glory of General Kim Jong Il.The movie is meant to extol the success of modern North Korea. Living with Wolves Reviews:

absolutely wonderful depth and feature into the mostly unknown life of wolves. these two folks have got so much devotion and courage to live in a tent amongst their own package of wolves in the Idaho wilderness for six years. the couple do a tremendously nice job of gaining the wolves believe and carefully adding more hand reared puppies to the package in order to build a powerful and stable pack. Jim and Jamie Dutcher's observations about the wolves deliever you with facts that should only be found out by living with them. you gotta see this if you like animals. the end would bring a tear to a glass eye. There is also a detailed ebook of their journeys with the wolves which would be suggested to anyone who liked the programme or wants to search out more

I found the movie enthralling. For an animal so vilified in ebooks and movies it was absolutely nice to see the interaction between the Dutchers and the wolves. The reaction of the Omega female turned Alpha female when the cubs were born allowing Jamie Dutcher to inspect them in the den was truly awesome, especially as she disallowed another members of the package near them.To see wild animals gather round two humans and lick their faces, had anyone tuned in at that precise moment, they would have thought the wolves were house pets instead animals gratis to roam at will in the wild.A masterpiece of film-making, made even more remarkable by the conditions under which the movie was made. Awesome.

This documentary about studying wolves is hardly a documentary. It's more like a biography, but still a documentary.A boy and girl wish to learn more about the lives of wolves. Fortunately, they become part of the wolf family in the American West, braving some of the harshest Winters imaginable. But they have to brave these Winters. They are actually part of the wolf family. Although not pets, there is the love and tenderness one feels when a mother brings her puppies or kittens into your lap. A related situation here. The storyline is said in a fluid style, more entertaining than most action films you will see made today. This is both informative and touching. It is the greatest of both worlds.
