Description: Checco, an uneducated but self-satisfied fellow from Milan, who has everytime dreamed of becoming a police officer, fails his entrance exam for the third time. It gotta be told that at the oral examination Checco told that the reason why he wanted to join the police was benefits in type and cronyism! But the young boy has connections and he later finds himself a safety agent at the Milan Cathedral. Of course the bumbling idiot proves a living catastrophe! Spotted by Sufien, an Arab terrorist who is preparing an attack vs the cathedral, Checco appears as the excellent sucker. To manipulate him, he sends his charming sister Farah to him, with the point to seduce him...
Description: Sentemental military comedy revolves around two contemporary units buddies, Master Sergeant Maxwell Slaughter (Jackie Gleason), a smooth operator, who supply Sergeant Eustis Clay (Steve McQueen) idolizes and hopes will join him as a civilian in a personal business enterprise. Clay endeavors to be a user in the military, just like Slaughter, but it seems as though Clay still has a lot to learn from his mentor. They are joined by Tuesday Weld as a shrill dizzy blonde teenager called Bobby Jo Pepperdine and Tony Bill as bumbling Personal First Class Jerry Meltzer, McQueen's screwball sidekick.

But Mabel decides to take the wheels in his place, thus causing a threat to Charlie. As the race progresses, despite a very late start, Mabel manages to gain a lead of three laps. Charlie with his henchmen, tries to sabotage the race by using oil and bombs on the track. They seem to succeed for a while, but their dirty tricks were not enough to stop the high-spirited Mabel from winning the race.
Description: When a married couple become separated in the park, Charlie takes up with the lady and is beat up when her husband rejoins her. He takes a room in their hotel, and she sleepwalks into his room so that when her husband returns from his walk he gotta go out again to look for her. Charlie returns the lady to her room but gotta climb out onto the window ledge in a downpour.

Description: Charlie starts to woo a girl on a bench, only to have her seaman boyfriend object. After a brick war between the two boys that eventually involves two police officers, all five folks end up in the local pond to cool off.
Description: A painter turned tramp (Chaplin), devastated by losing the girl he was courting as a wealthy man, finds himself drunk and getting drunker by the minute with some sailors at a bar until he's literally falling down. He keeps futilely trying to draw the woman's picture on the floor with a piece of chalk until he finally passes out cold (or perhaps dies, as in the poem) at the end of the film.
Description: Charlie is in charge of scene "props" and has problem with actors' luggage and conflicts over who gets the star's dressing room. Once the dressing-room trouble is resolved the next trouble is getting everyone on scene with the correct backdrop. Backstage Charlie and an old boy fight, often disrupting the on-stage performances. The audience also break into a fight, and a hose brought out behind the scenes ends up squirted over them.

When Charlie arrives in this land (where each boy has one thousand wives), he falls in love with the King's favourite wife. When the Lord falls over a cliff, he is presumed dead and Charlie crowns himself King. The King, however, is not dead and comes back and bashes Charlie over the head with a rock. It turns out it was a dream and a police boy bashed Charlie over the head with his club because he was sleeping in the park.
Description: Charlie and his wife are walking in the park when they encounter Ambrose and his wife where they become attracted to every other's wife and begin chasing them around the park. A policeman out looking for a masher also becomes involved.
Description: It is windy at a bathing resort. After fighting with one of the two husbands, Charlie approaches Edna while the two husbands themselves war over ice cream. Driven away by her husband, Charlie turns to the other's wife.
Description: Charlie and his mate Ambrose meet in a restaurant and accidentally leave with every other's coats. Charlie was going to pick up a baby bottle and Ambrose was going to email a love letter that was in his coat pocket. Charlie's wife finds the letter and thinks he has a secret lover and Ambrose's wife believes he has an illegitimate child. Controversy arises in the park between Charlie and his wife and Ambrose and his wife. It is resolved at the end, but Charlie sparks other war between the another couple by showing his friend's wife the love letter that was in his pocket.
Description: Mother, father and daughter go to the park. The girls doze off on a bench while the father plays a hide-and-seek minigame with a girl, blindfolded. Charlie leads him into a lake. Both dozing ladies on the bench fall for Charlie and invite him for dinner. The father returns home with a friend. Charlie rushes upstairs and dresses like a woman, shaving his mustache. Both boys fall for Charlie.
Description: Charlie is a fireman who everytime does everything wrong. A boy talks the Fire Chief into ignoring his burning home (he wants the insurance money) unaware that his daughter (the love of the Chief) is upstairs in the house. When the house next door catches fire its owner rouses Charlie who rouses the force.
Description: Chaplin, in his traditional Tramp persona, is a customer who creates chaos in a department shop and becomes inadvertently entangled in the nefarious scheme of the shop manager and the store's floorwalker to embezzle cash from the establishment.
Description: Mr. Pest tries few theatre seats before winding up in front in a war with the conductor. He is thrown out. In the lobby he pushes a fat lady into a fountain and returns to sit down by Edna. Mr. Rowdy, in the gallery, pours beer down on Mr. Pest and Edna. He attacks patrons, a harem dancer, the singers Dot and Dash, and a fire-eater.
Description: A shipowner intends to scuttle his ship on its last voyage to receive the insurance money. Charlie, a tramp in love with the owner's daughter, is grabbed by the captain and promises to support him shanghai some seamen. The daughter stows away to follow Charlie. Charlie assists in the galley and attempts to serve meal during a gale.
