Description: Wang Shin-hong is suffering from insomnia. A fortune teller advises the Mandalay businessman, whose vehicle and bulging wallet recommend that business is going cute well, to spend 14 days in a monastery, living life as a monk and eating an apple a day. Such a thing is possible in Burma today. Wang Shin-hong arrives at the rural monastery, has his head shaved and dons a red robe, in which he immediately becomes an authority. During the welcome procession, the village women, their poverty clear from their clothing and the huts in the background, place more than they have in his alms bowl. During his fleeting role as their advisor, Wang Shin-hong later learns of the villagers’ attempts to survive and create a living as legal or illegal migrants in China, Thailand or Malaysia. He also finds out how the another monks test to generate profit and extra income.

Description: While planning the eventual DVD release for "1991: The Year Punk Broke", Dave Markey slash a 40-minute movie out of unused footage to make a companion piece to include. The movie was also shown to a handful of lucky audiences before the DVD's eventual release in 2011. It's an nice premium with variety of nice footage that should have easy been in the film. These songs were probably the greatest to leave out of the full-length film, since 2 were brand fresh and still quite shaky. The only tour staple not accounted for in either movie is "Mary-Christ".
