Description: In 1969, the painter-sculptor Daniel Pommereulle made his third film, this one financed by Sylvina Boissonnas. It features, for instance, shots of the moon taken by a state-of-the-art telescope, the Questar, that Pommereulle first saw while visiting Marlon Brando in southern California in 1968. In Rohmer’s La Collectionneuse, Pommereulle and his mate Adrien philosophize on how greatest to achieve le vide (emptiness) during their summer holidays. Three years later, Pommereulle would transform the word “vide” to “vite” (quickly), signifying his profound disenchantment with the aftermath of the revolution of May ’68. —Harvard Movie Archive

Their eyes meet, mins pass and we seem to witness a love storyline that hasn’t began or may have already started, with its potential jealousies and passions, or which may never happen at all; other kind of romance. The feeling of seeing or being seen, the rhythmical editing, the test of cinemascope to create objects and territories appear as abstract forms, the predominance of detailed shots: these are all obsessions, forms and audiovisual concepts that burst in this surprising film.

I just complete watching Knucklehead and I absolutely loved it. It is hilarious most of the time and very sad at times, and I really love the funny and sad twists. I was expecting it to be just other time-wasting film that will depend entirely on its main actor's fame, but it definitely surpassed my expectations. All the actors in the film were great. Tag Feuerstein and Merola Hardin really hit the spot and enjoy their characters perfectly, and so did all the another actors in the movie.Paul Wight "The Large Show" surprisingly is a brilliant actor. He is hilarious and portrays his character's emotions flawlessly. I'd go as much as telling he's a much better actor than he is a wrestler.Critics and folks who are into films like The Godfather could avoid this film and not begin criticizing and nominating it for worst film in history as this is just a comedy for the family. So buy/rent it for the weekend, sit on the couch with your family, receive your pop corn ready, and prepare to begin laughing at a giant acting like a 12 year old! Must love Knucklehead!
I now have never heard of WWE Productions prior to watching this film and I am not a wrestling fanatic in any method shape or form. I watched the film on the suggestion of a friend. This film is just a fun, funny, feel nice film that is suitable for the entire family. It is a good, heartwarming movie. There are a several profanities and mild violence, but really suitable for cute much anyone. The actors were great. Though the main actor is apparently a wrestler, he is quite a talented actor. His ability to present a large range of emotions is as nice as most well paid, well known actors. This probably isn't a critics movie. But if you can sit around and play a film without digging into originality and critically analyzing everything about it, you will enjoy. This is just a nice movie to be able to receive the family together and everyone play the movie. I highly suggest it.
I wasn't expecting much from this film a typical comedy with a popular wrestling star. It Felt like a makeover Nacho Libre. What did surprise me was The Large Shows performance, His emotions in it really felt sincere this chap CAN now act in fact i would go as far as telling he would create a better actor than one of his wrestling performance acts. its not a side splitting film but does have its moments. In all, The actors did a nice job, The cast was good. The comedy was funny in parts, the storyline wasn't anything fresh though. in all a well acted fun family film not just aimed at wrestling fanatics as in fact there is not now a lot of wrestling in it which i am now glad of as when there was wrestling scenes it was the poorest performance of acting in the movie. You certainly wouldn't think of large present as a professional wrestler, yes the scenes were that bad!. Transport over Mr Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) there's a fresh wrestling actor in town.I would rate @ 6.5
