Description: But what is the Church of Satan? Who is Anton LaVey? Where is he from? Why does he do that? It does not take much to imagine the worst. Orgiastic ceremonies, where one revels in the blood of virgins, moonlight lamb sacrifices, noise concerts in the basement of a historical building… No, really nothing that amusing among the activities in the Church of Satan. Anton LaVey is nothing like a horned Charles Manson, and his path is all the more unexpected. Nickname Bougas allows us to explore the artist, the musician, the philosopher, all through hallucinatory photos retrieved from archives, making this rare documentary only two years before the creator of the Satanic Bible disappeared.

Living in Australia, it is virtually impossible not to be some kind of sports fan, as sport is so much intertwined with our National Identity (sad , I know, but it is.).So naturally, I LOVE sports DOCO's. I was hoping this would be entertaining and it is....and more so.There are no spoilers here and I wish to tell that before I watched this - I knew absolutely NOTHING about Swansea Town FC (I hope I got that right). This documentary does what nice documentaries do - they inform the first time viewer with all the relevant notification they will need in order to totally understand the adventure that the storyline wants you to understand. You don't have to like Swansea, Football or Sport to LOVE this.If you like an improbable storyline with Hero's and Villains and a cast of interesting and diverse characters - as well as MAGIC. Then you could LOVE THIS also
what a pity. a nice storyline but....poorly told, poorly place together. e.g. early on we receive a lot of talking heads but ....who are they? eventually we search out....eventually. & the chairman petty storyline is very unclear. OK, he buys the club for a pound but what exactly was his 'rip off' strategy? did he intend to sell the ground for development? did the club now own the ground? was his main consultant now involved in the porn business? what you do receive is the love & passion & commitment of true fans, a quick disappearing breed. although perhaps we should have done without so much of the vodka breakfast of champions of the woman with the eating disorder....
This movie pushes all the right emotional buttons but so much of it is a bit lacking. There seems to be too much fluffy filler rather than story-telling. Some of the filler: Baton girl, Anorexic fanatic (why is she representative of all fans? No others were really featured) and no interviews with Brendan Rodgers - the most influential manager of Swansea - ridiculous.I did play the Roberto Martinez storyline and Lee Trundle (no interview again.) In fact it was weird how there were interviews missed from many key individuals. Oh well. I lived in South Wales when I was younger so this movie resonated with me quite a bit the landscape that Leon Brittain alludes to remains with me as a lasting impression the slag-heaps and industrial skyline. As an emotional storyline this works quite well. As an informative documentary not so much.
