Description: KISS have everytime had an approach to their fanatics that on the one hand should be seen as ridiculously crass and on the another as truly generous. And this release, with its three expertly mastered and crammed DVDs--issued with three separate premium discs--could easy help either view. The second installment in KISS's Kissology DVD series will sort out the casual fanatics from the real members of the KISS Army. The material included here, after all, starts in 1978, when the band released four separate solo albums at once and their heavy popularity began to wane. It continues on through the controversial makeup-free period and ends in '91, as KISS struggled to cope with the ascendancy of grunge over the hair metal style they'd experienced a second boom with. The concert movies are cute great, but the full-length Tom Snyder Tomorrow present appearance is flat-out brilliant,

Eighteen songs, performed in December 2009 at the Hammersmith Apollo, with an absolute minimum of onstage chatter and dollops of stylishly grainy, MTV-like filler: Ms. Spektor on the plane from Fresh York, driving through London, applying makeup before the show. It’s perfectly tasteful, a fine showcase for her melody and, more important, a fine promotional software for the accompanying CD and DVD (which — surprise — include four extra songs).
