Description: Popeye spanks Swee'pea and sends him to bed without supper. He wrestles with his conscience over this, while Swee'pea packages a bundle and runs away from home. They apparently live in the wilderness, since Swee'pea crosses a rope bridge that collapses, narrowly misses a landslide, and is later on a narrow mountain path. Popeye finds him and rescues him from a waterfall but his spinach can is empty. Fortunately, this was all a terrible dream from Popeye's conscience.

After a brief song-and-dance intro, the act begins: Popeye demonstrating his strength while Olive displays her flexibility and balance; impersonations of Jimmy Durante, Stan Laurel and Groucho Marx; and the last act, more feats of strength and agility.
Description: William fires an arrow, barely missing Popeye; then says Popeye that he has just lost his son in an unfortunate arrow incident (the picture of his son is Groucho Marx). Say then defies the lord and is ordered to shoot an apple off his son's head; Popeye stands in for his son. The arrow goes astray, but it hits Popeye's can of spinach.
Description: Mystery Pictures is looking for a stunt man. Swee'pea tags along with Popeye, but he sends the tot home. Popeye shows clips of his stunts to the director, who is impressed; when he goes to place on the last reel, Swee'pea, who snuck back in, hands him Lost and Foundry (1937), which details Swee'pea saving the day. The director signs Swee'pea.
Description: Olive writes a letter to Popeye: she's through with sailors; it's cowboys for her. Popeye instantly sails off to the West, where he finds, who else, Bluto as the head of the ranch where Olive is enthralled. Bluto gives Popeye a wild horse to ride, and, after a several humiliating defeats, Popeye conquers it (and wins back Olive's heart). Bluto punches Popeye out, and into the clutches of what can greatest be described as a rattlesnake constrictor.
Description: Dr. Bluto sails off to Darkest Africa for exploration. Popeye, who stayed behind, hears a radio report that Bluto is lost and sets sail himself (on a raft). He manages to land right by a trail left by Bluto, and after fighting a several animals along the way, finds himself, exhausted and dehydrated, in Darkest Africa, within sight of Bluto. We see why Bluto has not been heard of: he has a bevy of native beauties attending to his each need.
Description: A barker tutorials us through a sideshow, a menagerie, and on to the large top, for a series of typical Avery gags. For example, the trapeze artists, the Flying Cadenzas, literally fly; the lion puts his head in the tamer's mouth; and the human cannonball flies around the world.
Description: A series of blackout gags parodying aviation and aviation films. Gags contain a parchutist whose parachute reads "Good to the last drop", jokes about LA's expanding town limits, and a satire of use pilot and their bravery.

Description: The men present up simultaneously to take Olive to the movies. She needs to visit the hairdresser first, and says the men to take care of Swee'Pea: bath, dress him, and nap. Of course, with these two, nothing is simple.

Description: The Large Terrible Wolf, villain of children's stories for years, is on trial for crimes committed vs Tiny Red Riding Hood and her grandmother. When given a possibility to speak in his defense, Mr. Wolf explains the supposed true storyline behind the fairy tale, in which he is the victim and Red and her grandma are the ones to blame. Will the jury purchase his story?
Description: Popeye's pappy, age 99, wants to go out at night; Popeye wants him to sleep. Popeye tries leg irons, but Pappy manages to place them on Popeye and sneak out to a sleazy bar. Pappy dances with another men's girlfriends, bumps into everyone, and throws his dancing partner into the band. Soon, the entire bar is lining up to receive a piece of Pappy just as Popeye arrives.
Description: Olive sends Popeye a puppy, Eugene the Jeep, for his birthday, but despite Popeye's greatest efforts to create it sleep outside, it keeps finding its method back into the house. A rare spinach-free Popeye.
Description: Tom's father mistakenly believes that the tiny bird who's just rescued his small son from drowning in the dishwater is attacking the man and drives it away. Tom sets off to search the bird and gets lost in a fierce snowstorm.
Description: Popeye's 99-year-old father won't admit he's too old to support Popeye build a ship. Popeye says him to build one side while he builds the other; Pappy's side is a mess. He falls asleep supporting hoist the mast. While Pappy sleeps, Popeye rebuilds his side and finishes the above-decks, with a tiny support from spinach, of course.
Description: Porky decides to go fishing the next day and says his cat. The cat sleeps fitfully. The next day, while they are fishing, the cat gets into a war with a flying fish who behaves rather like Daffy Duck.
Description: Popeye runs a tiny airport. Pappy comes along and wants to be a pilot, but Popeye says him he's too old. Pappy, dejected, leaves, but manages to begin one of the planes parked outside. He flies it, causing much damage. His imminent ruin is announced, and Popeye rushes to the site. Fortunately, Pappy is OK.
Description: Illustrating the origin of the term 'sour grapes', (post-Aesop, that is), Crow gets Fox to trade him his picnic lunch for some grapes high on a vine. After many difficulties, the fox manages to receive to them but discovers they are sour indeed.
Description: Poopdeck Pappy has a hangover (though he won't admit to Popeye that's the problem). He asks Popeye to support him by keeping the noise down. Among the disturbances he deals with: a crying baby across the way, a horse-drawn milk truck, a factory whistle, a radio, a traffic accident, a construction site, a blasting website (the Sparber construction company) this one takes spinach. He gets home and hears a party going on upstairs where a recovered Pappy is living it up.
Description: Popeye's Pappy takes a flagpole sitting job atop a tall building without saying Popeye. Popeye goes to rescue him, but he doesn't wish to go until an electrical storm hits.
Description: Andy Panda and his father are trying to groom an alley cat, which Andy wants to enter in a Cat Show, The cat is not interested in being in present business, and is even more disinterested in getting a bath. A swimming pool is the last resort where everybody but the cat gets wet.
Description: A dog called Rover explains to a black, down-on-his-luck shaggy dog called Andy how he got his master. He went into a hotel room and bothered someone taking a bath--Porky Pig. Porky doesn't wish Rover as a pet, no matter how many times Rover tries to create Porky adopt him.
