American Milo #

Released 11/20/2015

As much provocateur as journalist Milo is a special figure in the media landscape. A flamboyant gay boy with a lust for life and the limelight, he is also religious and thoughtful in his unapologetic conservative views. He is either loved or hated by those who know him and his work. He has a mission of view and he forces you to have one as well, which is why he was interesting to me as a movie subject. He has an honest opinion and he's not scared to tell it, and then defend it. This is becoming an increasingly rare quality in both folks and the media and I wanted to capture him and this moment in the cultural zeitgeist.

Yet without any regulations at work, this growth only made injustices in distribution bigger. While a single cinema chain controls more then 50% of the market, it also started to control distribution and production. In this monopolized environment, there seems to be no country for independent production. With the guidance of producers, distributors, and economists, the movie traces the distortion created by the terrible economy that has become an obstacle for freedom of choice.

After over an hour of lively, informal, spontaneous and funny interviews, it becomes obvious that these problems are still problematic and definitely worthy of a documentary. Hellhounds on My Trail: The Afterlife of Robert Johnson Reviews:

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. I am a large fanatic of RJ, Muddy Waters and the Blues in general. It gave some nice in-site into his life and death. There have been so many rumors about RJ and this place some of the myth to rest by separating fact and fiction. I knew there was a Robert Johnson, Jr. who got a settlement from the estate of RJ. There was also a stepson, who gave some nice input into his life. The Blues researchers and musicians who focused on his melody were nice to listen to also. I sincerely suggest it for any Blues enthusiast.
