This is an perfect making of Documentary, that's extremely interesting and very well done, i loved it!. I tend to play Documentaries a lot and being a large fanatic of Universial Solider i was looking forward to this one, i wasn't disappointed, as it's very insightful and engrossing, Dolph's and Van Damme's comments were especially good!. I also enjoyed Roland Emmerich's comments a lot as he said some very funny stories on Van Damme and Lundgren on the set!, and they all seemed to really play working on this film!, and as a effect i had fun listening to them talk about this unbelievable film!.They were all really polite, and nice, and i was really satisfied that Dolph and Van Damme got along on the set really well, and are close friends, as i LOVE both (espeically Van Damme), plus it looked like it was hard to create as well!. This is an perfect making of documentary that's extremely interesting and very well done i loved it!, and if you happen to have the fresh unique edition of Universial Soldier you gotta see this perfect Documentary!. ****1/2 out of 5
This is one of the two featurettes on the 2-Disc Unique Edition DVD of Universal Soldier, obviously dealing with the making of that film. It consists of interviews with cast and crew, behind-the-scenes footage and clips of the movie. They go into unique effects, action, stunts(like the dam sequence), humor, and of course, that Damme butt. We also search out about the rivalry between, well, who of the UniSols had the bigger... muscles. You receive genuine insight into how certain things in this came about, such as the short lines of Jean-Claude, who also has some funny comments. Devlin and Emmerich are two of the greatest and most interesting and hilarious to watch(though Lundgren comes really close), but everyone has got something to say. There are spoilers in this, so you could keep off on it until you've seen the flick itself. It's all quite well-edited, sharp and this doesn't linger excessively on anything. The pacing is cute good. This is nicely entertaining and informative throughout, and no fanatic of the topics of this documentary could miss it. I suggest this to anyone who belongs in that group, and anyone who wants to know more about the process. 7/10
