Description: In September, 1959, six Europeans leave Cook's Bay on the southern coast of Dutch Fresh Guinea, actually West Papua or Irian Jaya, to trek north to the far side of the island. The adventure (450 miles, as a crow flies) across unmapped zone took seven months; three Muyu porters died. Near both coasts, the expedition met villagers who invited them to observe rituals and live with them. The narrator focuses on describing Stone Age savages, headhunters, and cannibals.

The film explains the historical context of the genre, from the movement of Futurism and Luigi Russolo from before WWI to electronic experiments in the fifties, avantgarde in the sixties, industry and punk in the seventies to the final establishment of the noise category at the end of the seventies in Japan. Adding to the flavour are concert performances.
Description: In various times and spaces, categories like Death Metal are born. The early 90′s were still full of the 80′s vibe of over-consumption & greed, which found it’s method into daily life, even into the melody that was created. Just like hardcore in the early 80′s, not all of the teenagers of this decade wanted to hear the bubblegum pop that had invaded the airwaves. Death Metal did not wish to be digested by the masses, and as a sub culture it was fully satisfied being the outsider. I’m not sure what was in the water in Florida during the late 80′s, because those children were on some next shit, and they helped push the category to another heights. When you are living in a certain period of time, you do realize that the life you are living should become historic to others in the future.
