Description: In eight minutes, animator Bill Plympton gives us 24 vignettes: seven are clearly about sex, 10 about violence, and seven others deal with human frailties, particularly the body as it ages. There are three stories of persons with confused priorities (including a guy tying his shoe while parachuting); the world's first smartphone sex; and a clever, if dangerous, method to search a lost key. Except for the games of every sketch and a couple of jokes that turn on noise, these are visual trips into the psyche of men, women, God, animals, and Time (the opponent of us all).
Description: When the circus comes to town, Snoopy naturally pays a visit. There he falls for a pretty poodle performing there. He later runs away to join it. While he quickly becomes a star performer, Charlie Brown is distraught by Snoopy's decision while Snoopy himself has to face some realities of present business himself.

Description: At the home of Viennese composer Johann Strauss, lived Johann Mouse. Whenever the composer played his waltzes, the mouse would dance to the music, unable to control himself. One day, when Strauss was away, the housecat played his master's music. This forced the mouse to dance, providing the cat with a possibility to pounce on him. When word got out about a piano-playing cat and a dancing mouse, they were commanded to perform for the emperor.
Description: Creature Street explores the wildly wonderful worlds of legendary underground clay animator Bruce Bickford. Tracing the origins of his remarkably special sensibility, the movie adventures back to Bickford's childhood in a competitive household during the paranoia of the Cold Fight and examines his relationship with his father, George, who is facing the onset of Alzheimer's Disease. Bickford's films, especially the dark and magical clay animations he created for Frank Zappa in the 1970s, have achieved cult status worldwide. Entirely self-taught, the 56-year-old Bickford works alone in a makeshift basement studio in his house near Seattle. Bickford's father George, a retired Boeing engineer of the Cold Fight era, is the another main character. George's talent for maximizing the zone inside airplanes and missiles parallels his son's animations, which often include variety of inch-tall figures fighting wars on a small set.
Description: A fresh DVD was released by Bright Eye Pictures in early 2008, titled Prometheus' Garden. It contains the first movie that Bickford had finished control over, the 28-minute Prometheus' Garden, originally finished on 16mm movie in 1988.
Description: Donald is leading a scout troop consisting of his nephews on a hike in the woods. Donald isn't nearly the expert on the woods that he thinks he is, much to the amusement of the boys. In a bid for sympathy, he douses himself in catsup and fakes injury; the men bandage him so thoroughly he can't see, and he stumbles into a pot of honey, and is later getting all too much attention from a bear.
Description: Donald's sister Dumbella sends her three sons Huey, Dewey, and Louie to visit their uncle Donald. They prove to be quite a handful for Donald, even with support from his ebook on kid rearing.
Description: Donald and Goofy are trappers in the frozen south (Antarctica) with various approaches. Donald sees a penguin and dresses as one to lure her to the chopping block; Goofy baits a trap with fish (then acts like a walrus to capture one that steals his bait bucket).
Description: Donald hears a radio philosopher advise to laugh and count ten when he gets angry. He tries it successfully, then settles into his hammock for a nap. Between a caterpillar and the hen chasing it, he's later tangled up and counting ten again. He also shrugs off a bird using his lemonade as a birdbath, but when a woodpecker attacks his apple tree, burying Donald in apples, he snaps.
Description: Schoolboy Donald is torn between his angel and devil sides, though in Donald's case, the devil side isn't difficult to resist. But the smoking he's encouraged to do turns him green and gives him regrets, and when the nice side shows up and kicks evil's butt, Donald cheers.
Description: Tom sets out to capture and eat a sleeping canary. Jerry is walking out, preparing for a fresh day, when he spots the vulpine manner in which Tom is acting. As Tom steals the canary in its cage, Jerry trips the cat and Tom loses the canary. The cage rolls into the tree, jolting the canary and waking it up. The first thing he sees is the ongoing chase and he supports Jerry out by tangling Tom in the drying lines and sectioning him. Tom instead chases the canary with an axe, but misses and chops down a pole, which hits Tom on the head and comically nails Tom into the ground. As Jerry is being pursued, the canary motions for him to join him up in the birdhouse. Tom follows him up, but the canary gives him a 2,000-lb weight and Tom plummets. The two shake hands but the peace doesn't last long as Tom erects a ladder and begins to climb it. But before Tom can reach the top, the canary lights a match to it. Tom and the ladder are left burned and fully black.
Description: Donald controls the hounds (or maybe they control him), and Goofy is riding on Horace Horsecollar, as the fox outwits both of them. Some another Disney characters are seen briefly in the hunting party at the end.
Description: The cartoon starting stage begins outside of the house and then goes to Tom, who was taking a nap but was woken up by Jerry. Tom peeks through the mouse hole to see what the noise was and sees Jerry smacking a punching bag that looks like a cat. After Jerry finishes with the punching bag, his spiritual mentor appears and asks him if he's ready to take on the cat, which is Tom. Jerry nods yes. After Jerry walks out of his mouse hole he sees Tom at the end of a hallway and becomes scared of him, until Tom begins to mock Jerry. He then laughs at the thought of Jerry defeating him. Jerry then decides to go and war Tom until Tom pulls out a flyswatter and hits Jerry with it a couple of times. After the beating, Tom then slingshots Jerry with the flyswatter back into his mouse hole where he runs into one of his walls. Jerry's spiritual mentor appears again and gives Jerry a gong to ring that summons a "Karate Guard" called Momo-sumo (played by Spike) to aid him whenever he needs help.

This short, arguably a sequel to Frank Film, certainly a companion effort to that remarkable film, is a much more playful and humorous turn than the first one was. Almost as visually arresting as Frank Film, this uses the same collage results to have Caroline Mouris create a movie about herself, but it quickly evolves into good-natured banter between Caroline and Frank, making this very funny to hear and intriguing to watch. Entertaining from begin to finish. Credits at the end are done, like Frank Film, in voiceover. Well worth watching, I saw this on the Sundance Channel the another night. Recommended, but not your typical animated film.
