Pond), Red Rock Outlaw had the audacity to detail its novice star, Bob Gilbert (who also wrote the original story), as identical cousins -- one good, the another bad. The nice Gilbert, a rancher, enjoys a campfire singalong with the members of s stranded girls' band, falling in love with Carolina (Ione Nixon), a bleach-blonde looker, along the way. The terrible cousin, meanwhile, is scheming with neighboring rancher Jim Martin (Forrest Mathews) to have great Bob killed so they can combine their properties. Produced in 16 mm back in 1946 or 1947 and released on States' Rights by Screen Features, Inc., Red Rock Outlaw was merely an excuse to showcase a series of country & western specialty acts, including Wanda Cantlon, who, according to an onscreen credit, introduced the song "Alimony" and supplied choreography.

Their first sold out present at the nation's premiere amphitheatre created a palpable pre-show energy that never relented. Those in attendance clearly knew they were in for a ride. The band stepped on the gas early and never allow up. Set one started with the debut of a fresh original "Lucid State." "Conduit" got the early treatment and "Ocean Billy" lit up the rocks, finished with "Gents" sandwiched neatly in the middle. Jake Cinninger unveiled a treat as he performed "End of the Road" on Jerry Garcia's historic Travis Bean TB500 guitar. The band closed the set with Bob Seger's "Hollywood Nights" which turned into a crowd sing along, 9500 voices strong.
