Downtown Calling 2009
Description: In the late 1970s, the "greatest town in the world" was teetering on the edge of total chaos. A failed economy, crime and en mass housing corruption gave method to a town in crisis. Yet out of the economic and social strife that held the "Big Apple" hostage, a family of homegrown cultures that would forever change the globe began to emerge. Downtown Calling not only documents, in detail, the evolution of Fresh York City's fertile melody and art subculture during this period, but how its collective output continues to enjoy a prominent, driving role in the international fashion, art and melody industries today.

FEMA City #

Description: In 2004, a trailer park was set-up in a field in Charlotte County, Florida after Hurricane Charley destroyed buildings and homes. Nearly 1,500 folks moved into the more than 1,000 trailers and it took on the nick FEMA City. It is FEMA's privacy to deliever gratis emergency housing for up to 18 months. Once displaced, residents of FEMA Town found that returning to their homes and to normalcy would prove to be one of the best challenges of their lives. Filmmaker Jamin Griffiths takes a look at the poor toll the storm took on the community, and the long, hard wait of most FEMA Town residents to search a foothold back in the Southwest Florida area.
