How will we re-imagine suffering when we realize that God sees our lives as works of art?

Description: Père-Lachaise - one of the world's most popular and pretty cemeteries - is the final resting-place of a gifted group of artists from all eras and corners of the world. Some - such as Piaf, Proust, Jim Morrison and Chopin - are worshiped to this day. Others have fallen into oblivion, or are visited occasionally by a single admirer. In Forever we see the mysterious, calming and consoling beauty of this special cemetery through the eyes of folks of flesh and blood. Many come for their 'own' beloved: husbands, wives, family and friends. Others Honor 'their' artist by leaving behind a private message or a flower. While admirers share with us the importance of art and beauty in their lives, the graveyard gradually reveals itself as a source of inspiration for the living. Death offers tiny consolation except for the passing of time, the melancholia of a moss-covered tomb, and the beauty and power of a piece of music, a poem or a painting Written by Cobos

The picture starts with a shot of the Horseshoe Falls, then pans south, past the American Falls, and onward. It pauses occasionally to present groups of folks tramping across the the frozen river. Eventually the circular pan takes the camera's eye back to the falls. The film ends with the roaring American Falls center stage,This film is credited to Porter as director, but I strongly suspect he wasn't involved, beyond sending the cameramen and equipment north and approving which of the takes was printed for viewing. By this time, circular pans had become standard shots for the movies.
