The problem is, the composer's works are never played without other band member doctoring them up to create them swingier. Fortunately, the composer isn't too averse to the changes as he has just won the heart of the beauty who sings his revamped songs. Songs include: "Where Did You Receive That Girl?" Description: Ten years in the making, KISS Loves You is a movie that began back in 1994 when the band KISS was at a career weak and KISS fanatics around the globe were starting tribute bands, uniting at unofficial KISS Conventions and growing increasingly more nostalgic for the 70's era classic KISS line-up. The zeitgeist exhibited at these conventions was not lost on the band and in 1996 they responded, rising up like a grease painted phoenix into a fresh era of success. On the surface, KISS fanatics got exactly what they longed for, but for some the return of their idols brought unexpected consequences. KISS Loves You follows a several KISS fanatics along the way.
Description: In 1985, Dire Straits embarked on a globe tour of unprecedented proportions. Promoting their hit album Brothers in Arms, the tour included a thirteen-night residence at Wembley Arena (featuring Eric Clapton supporting out) and a brief jaunt at Live Aid (featuring Sting), before winding up in Australia in the Spring of 86. They ended with a 21-night stand at Sydney's Entertainment Center, packing the zone each night, and wrapping it all up with one final present on April 26th. Featuring the one-off calypso ver of "So Far Away" and an impromtu ver of the Australian folk anthem "Walktzing Matilda" (with the entire stadium providing the vocals), it is truly a present for the ages. This present represents a band at their very finest, a band that has perfected the art of transitioning from structured verse/chorus parts to solos and back, bringing the audience along on an emotional and superb adventure for every and each song.

Stranded entertainers Hope Holloway (Jane Frazee) and Gabby Trent (Eve Arden) decide to revivify Conway's establishment by staging an energetic floor present built around the talented Merry Macs. A rival club owner dispatches his two top hooligans Jigsaw Kennedy (Lon Chaney Jr.) and Benny the Bounce (Shemp Howard) to wreck Conway's club by posing as waiters, but the two stupes are easy cowed into submission--by the leading ladies!

Description: Broadway to Hollywood is a through-the-years saga about a present business family. Frank Morgan and Alice Brady enjoy vaudeville headliners of the 1880s whose fame is eclipsed by their son (played as a youth by Jackie Cooper, then as an adult by Russell Hardie). Morgan and Brady are reduced to bit roles in a musical starring their son and his wife (Madge Evans). Alas, Sonny spoils it all by drinking and philandering, while his wife dies in a freak accident.
Description: Jonas Kaufmann and Anna Caterina Antonacci bring rare erotic intensity to the drama of Don José and Carmen in this darkly passionate reading of one of the most famous operas. Kaufmann uses his burnished tenor and smouldering nice looks to portray the boy undone by Carmen's love. As the object of his desire, Antonacci gives a physical and compelling performance.

However the end effect is a comical shot of Kasumi with her mouth wide open, which Makimura likes to a hungry salmon! Distraught by the ensuing humiliation, Kasumi quits the choir, until she is encouraged to return by an unlikely counsel - the brutish leader of thuggish rival all male choir, Hiroshi Gondo (Gori).
Description: The B-52s were celebrating the 34th anniversary of their first-ever live present on Valentine’s Day in 1977 in the same town. This disc is also the first B52s concert actually officially released on DVD. Not surprisingly, as the group had no fresh material to promote, it’s a retrospective of their work from 1979 to their last fresh studio album, 2008’s Funplex.

Description: Earlier this month Adele stopped by a studio in Harlem to perform a six-song set for VH1 Unplugged. We have the song known as “The Contradictions Track,” which is “(You Create Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman,” in advance of the show’s online premiere March 3. It may seem like a risky transport for any singer to cover Aretha Franklin. Is there a more surefire method to feel inadequate? But Adele smartly introduced the song by telling she wouldn’t attempt to reinterpret it. While we accept with her sentiment (and respect for Aretha), turns out no dmca was needed. Listening up-close to Adele’s mellow but real rendition, which needed only minimal guitar and keys, it seemed to us there is no one Adele can’t cover with her powerful, nuanced singing.
Description: Andrzej Zulawski's La Note Bleue can be named an event. This is probably the first time that a director has, in all humility, treated the life of a composer – Chopin in this instance – without sacrificing any of his ambitions as a filmmaker. In others words, not for a single moment does he attempt to appropriate or place to his own test the melody he is filming. He directs it, and perhaps illustrates it, but in no method reduces it. In La Note Bleue the melody therefore serves neither as an excuse nor as a foil. It quite simply is. Invisible by nature, and yet terribly present. Mazurka, Nocturne, Funeral March... Notes heard time and again, but which here regain all their strength, ardor, and virtuosity. Fresh notes altogether, it might seem, and yet profoundly melancholy. Paul Claudel declared "the eye can listen." La Note Bleue proves him to be right, whispering to us that the "ear can see."
