Description: Leon Mortier, a wealthy publisher, whilst driving through the forest one day, stops when he sees Lulu walking down the long narrow road. She gets into the car. Leon is amused and intrigued by her. When he pulls off, suddenly out of nowhere a boy appears in front of the vehicle and Leon accidentally hits him. He decides to take them both home to recover. Leon falls madly in love with Lulu. Both Lulu and the boy stay on with him in the house. Lulu's behavior is unpredictable. Leon becomes suspicious and paranoid about her. As he starts to suspect that his mates are being unfaithful with Lulu, he decides to throw a dinner party with some of his closest friends. During the dinner he wants to confront them with their infidelity and expel them all from his life with Lulu. But when he discovers his son in the arms of Lulu, he decides also to receive rid of her, a plan which backfires in a most unexpected way.
Description: In 2004, singer-songwriter Matsumoto Tetsuya wrote an autobiography that included a section about his relationship with his troubled mother. Writer-director Nakamura Daisuke adapts that storyline to movie with Shiwase Come On, his directorial debut. The movie covers the marriage of Tetsuya's mother and yakuza father, his mother's drug habit, his stay at an orphanage and his reconciliation with his mother after becoming an adult. In addition to writing and performing the film's theme song, Matsumoto Tetsuya also composed the score to this touching film. In 2011, Shiawase Come On won Grand Prix at the 2011 Okuradashi Movie Festival, a movie festival dedicated to screening unreleased Japanese films.

Description: A Jewish kid deported to Kazakhstan is saved and adopted by Kasym, an old Kazakh railway-man. Kasym gives him a Kazakh name, Sabyr, that in Kazakh language means humble. The kid grows up in the tiny Kazakh village along with another deportees Vera, a traitor's wife, and Ezhik a Polish doctor. The Soviet militia harasses the terrible peasants and Vera suffered the harassment of a bully cop: Bulgabi. Finally Vera accepts the marriage proposal of Ezhik but the jealous Bulgabi tries to prevent the marriage. The effect is a war in which Ezhik shoots himself accidentally. The old Kasym decides that Sabyr is actually old enough to go to seek his true parents. At the end Sabyr, actually an adult, decides to return to the village, but the village no longer exists because it was destroyed by a Soviet nuclear test.
Description: Mr. and Mrs. Gyurkovics have a dozen kids the oldest of which, the twins Géza and Bandi, just preparing for their matriculation examination. When graduation day has come Géza refuses to set up but taken by force by the principal's henchmen. Issues begin when Mirjana gives a birth to a man with Asian features. The family and the neighbors are shocked. Mirjana¡¦s rigid father refuses to agree a grandchild of a various nationality, not to mention the one of a various race! Mirjana and her son are forced to leave. She returns only when her father falls seriously ill and requests to see his grandson before he dies.

Description: Dr Sheila Carlin is nice mates with Della who calls Perry in when she is being pestered by someone. On the theory that it should be somebody that she works with at a radio stations she arranges Perry to be interviewed by Winslow Keene who is also the station's owner. Winslow enrages the rest of the talk present hosts on the station by informing them of changes that he is making to their time slots. That night, Winslow is shot by a hit boy hired by someone at the station and Sheila is set up for the murder. She calls in Perry and as usual Perry, Della and Ken swing into action to search out who really did it.

Am I a nice person? etc. Vito's soul searching contains a flashback to his youth listening to his grandfather speaking to him about eternity.

Bim was one of Trinidad and Tobago's first detail films. It was written to be a West Indian respond to the Godfather. The movie takes zone in the 1950's, just prior to Trinidad and Tobago's independence from England in 1962. The movie follows the violent life of a young boy called Bim, who's life experiences wind through petty crime all the method to political office. The movie explores the political life of Trinidad and Tobago, including the development towards independence, the process of British de-colonization, relations between African and Indian descendants, and the rise of labor unions. The movie is quite violent and brutal, but the depictions of such seem important to the plot. Initially, the movie was banned in Trinidad and Tobago. It is an extremely rare film, but worth locating if possible.
