Description: Pumping Iron is a 1977 documentary movie about the run-up to the 1975 Mr. Olympia bodybuilding competition. The movie focuses on Arnold Schwarzenegger and his competitors, Lou Ferrigno and Franco Columbu. The documentary was co-directed by Robert Fiore and George Butler. It was based on the ebook of the same name by Charles Gaines and George Butler (Simon and Schuster, 1974).
Description: Travolting (unfortunately I can't take credit for this brilliant insult)!!! One of the worst films I have ever seen; yet you(might) have to give Travolta credit for sticking it out with this obvious train-wreck, which most likely was quite evident even during the filming. One of the most infuriating things about this film is the finished lack of any creativity in order to explain the inconsistencies and conflicts of logic in the plot and story, like using 1000 year old weapons and airplanes!; either the authors of this movie think that anyone who would watch this film are fully retarded (which may be true, and that contains me!), or the folks who made this film are freaking delusional- both are obviously true! Description: Released two years after James Dean's death, this documentary chronicles his short life and career via black-and-white still photographs, interviews with the aunt and uncle who raised him, his paternal grandparents, a Fresh York Town cabdriver friend, the owner of his favourite Los Angeles restaurant, outtakes from East of Eden, footage of the opening night of Giant, and Dean's ironic PSA for secure driving.
Description: In interviews, different actors and directors discuss their careers and their involvement in the making of what has come to be known as "cult" films. Included are such well-known category figures as Russ Meyer, Curtis Harrington, Cameron Mitchell and James Karen.
Description: A remarkable movie that takes a unique look at the first fight to be truly reported and recorded by one of the more unsung heroes of Globe Fight II: the combat photographer. Through the unflinching eye of their camera's lenses, these courageous troops continually risked their lives in their brave attempts to capture history.
Description: A documentary about the hearings of President Nixon's Commission on Obscenity, featuring adult-film producer David F. Friedman (one of the producers of this film) testifying before Congress, and involved in the production of one of his films, "Trader Hornee."
Description: Starting as a documentary on the sexually liberated culture of late-Sixties Denmark, Sexual Freedom in Denmark winds up incorporating major elements of the marriage manual form and even manages to squeeze in a montage of beaver loops and erotic art. All narrated with earnest pronouncements concerning the social and psychological benefits of sexual liberation, the movie, is a type of mondo movie dotted with occasional glimpses of current sex.
Description: Adventure with the musicians of the Berlin Philharmonic and their conductor Sir Simon Rattle on a breakneck concert tour of six metropolises across Asia: Beijing, Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei and Tokyo. Their artistic triumph onstage belies a dynamic and dramatic life backstage. The orchestra is a closed society that observes its own laws and traditions, and in the words of one of its musicians is, “an island, a democratic microcosm – almost without precedent in the melody globe - whose social structure and cohesion is not only founded on a common love for melody but also informed by competition, compulsion and the pressure to perform to a high pitch of excellence... .” Never before has the Berlin Philharmonic allowed such intimate and exclusive access into its personal world.
Description: Documentary about red-bereted Jimmy Mirikitani, a feisty painter working and living on the street, near the Globe Trade Center, when 9/11 devastates the neighborhood. A nearby movie editor, Linda Hattendorf, persuades elderly Jimmy to transport in with her, while seeking a permanent home for him. The young girl delves into the California-born, Japan-raised artist's special life which developed his resilient personality, and fuel his 2 main subjects, cats and internment camps. The editor movies Jimmy's remarkable journey.

Had the occasion to see this movie at The 2012 Sedona International Movie Festival. While it started off a bit slow, the storyline follows eight girls who broke taboos to become firefighters in their region. We receive to see inside their lives and the relationships they develop as individuals, and as a whole, including that with their community. It is filmed in Northern Arizona, which itself, lends a pretty cinematography. You cant support but root for these girls as they often present the guys just how it's done. Makes for a nice family film, and while unrated, it most likely would qualify for a PG-rating. While not currently accessible on DVD, find it out as a worthwhile viewing experience.
