Description: In this movie I was interested in making territories that were far apart in physical distance appear next to every another in cinematic time. Every shot is an independent stage from a separate zone and I animated objects and materials found in these places. The optical soundtrack is mixed low, so that the sound of the static electricity on the track mixes with the recorded soundtrack.

In 1978, Nobel Science Prize winners Pjotr Kapitsa, Arno Penzias, Hamilton O. Smith, Peter D. Mitchell and Werner Arber were filmed in a Stockholm TV studio talking with Bengt Feldreich about fossil fuels, nuclear reactors, genetics, the nature of time and symmetry. Description: Climate scenario where temperature rise causes hallucinogenic heat-stroke resulting in tropical mirages and double vision. The main focus in the videoworks ‘Level’, ‘Temperature Rising’ and ‘Bloomberg’ has been photo and sound as equal units. This means that I’m trying not to place sound to photo or photo to sound but to work with the two in a parallel process where a motion can begin in a picture and end up moving through sound. My interest in movements travelling through time in photo and sound developed during my studies in visual art and electro-acoustic music.
Description: Inststamatic pictures − sewn in and reversed. These photos were all very ordinary with typical scenes from a family album: vacations, trips abroad, family gatherings etc. The sewing threads in the pictures − coast sewn to ocean, clouds to sky or folks sewn to every another − marks a method of codifying the emotional structures and relations in the images, thus controlling an interpretation of them and highlighting (while at the same time trying to bridge) the gap between photo and reality.
