Description: Opening with a credit line that reads "Entire production conceived, created and directed by George White," a movie evolves where the only plot line is a thin backstage romance between Jimmy Martin and Kitty Donnelly in and around a dozen or more sketches, revues, black-outs and singing and dancing turns. Made before the birth of the production code, reviewers of the day found much to object about in the implications of Alice Faye's "Nasty Man" song with the Meglin Kiddies, and the dog action in the "Your Dog Loves My Dog" number by Vallee, Faye, Jimmy Durante and Dixie Dunbar. The geometric dance arrangements used in the Vallee, Durante and Cliff Edwards "Every Day Is Father's Day" was not cause for Busby Berkeley to lose any sleep.

Description: Captured live on Nana Mouskouri’s farewell tour in 2007, this previously unreleased concert details Nana serenading a packed house at London’s Royal Albert Hall with an eclectic multi-lingual set of songs spanning from Beethoven to Bob Dylan. Effortlessly switching between English, Italian, French, German and Greek, Nana showcases her special talent as she sings classic compositions such as ‘Amazing Grace’ and ‘O Sole Mio’, theatrical favourites such as ‘Love Changes Everything’, and iconic songs including Elvis Presley’s ‘Love Me Tender’ and Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way’.
Description: 2011 performance of Puccini's "Tosca" by the Royal Opera House. The star singers in this revival of the 2006 production were Angela Gheorghiu, Jonas Kaufmann and Bryn Terfel; the Royal Opera Chorus and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House were under the baton of Antonio Pappano, the Melody Director of the Royal Opera House. The pageantry of church ritual, the darkness of a brooding study with its hidden torture chamber and the false optimism of the light of a Roman dawn - all throw into relief the love of the pretty diva Tosca, the idealism of her lover Cavaradossi and the deadly, destructive obsession of the malevolent Chief of Police, Scarpia. Drama, passion and fabulous music.

Description: This Pirates of Penzance is primarily a historical document, part of the Broadway Theater Archive tv series. It presents, with some inevitable, small technical shortcomings, a live 1980 performance in Central Park, not the 1983 film of the same name that also starred Linda Ronstadt and Kevin Kline. Those who remember that film, which had the benefit of retakes and editing, a lavish production budget, and the spaciousness of a Hollywood studio, may search this video less polished. On its own terms, it is nonetheless thoroughly enjoyable.

Description: To tell THE ULTIMATE REVENGE is dated 22 years after it was released would be an understatement. The results that Combat used in the video are cute cheesy (slow-motion, still photo, going back & forth between the video negative & the developed shot, etc). It would have been better to just present the raw footage. Still, to a certain extent, THE ULTIMATE REVENGE does document the growing interest in thrash metal that was taking zone at the time. Combat Records decided to showcase their three largest acts, Slayer, Venom & Exodus. All three had released fresh or debut albums when the video was shot. Concert footage recorded at Studio 54 in Fresh York. Witching Hour is taken from the Live Video EP from 1982. Countess Bathory is from The 7th Date of Hell video from '84. An interview with Venom exclusive to this release is included.
