Perfect documentary that shows the recent research and the most plausable scenario of how the large apes became the modern man. Loved the acting, narrative and effects. Some parts had More dramatic result than true actor movies!! (The mother carrying his Child....)Anti evolution folks Will hate this because of course.Ps. I wonder if Homo erectus looked so much like us?
This wasn't really scientific documentary. It had a lot of obvious mistakes and terrible guess work just to add to the drama. Like inventing fight and love and so BUT the largest thing that crashed it was that it was an obvious feminism propaganda. Anything nice or smart was either came from a female or by a beta male following the lead of a female. I was extremely disappointed by this propaganda taking over most of the film and some of the science was a terrible guess work at best.. I had high hopes for it but it was a letdown
As a film not bad, was professionally done. As a documentary the narration was cute close to correct, yet it was pointed towards female, and male interaction more than anything, and leant towards female dominance more than a equal society.I did quite a bit of research, and fact finding while I watched this, and though I can't tell that it is wrong, it just didn't touch the surface when it came to how Humans evolved. To be honest it really felt like a makeover of quest for fire, just changing the quest per every timeline.I honestly trust the National Geographic documentaries are more informative, and I would love to see a series showing human evolution on a social lvl (which this attempts to do)...yet there is no method it should be done in 1 or 2 films, it would take several. All and all great attempt...I wouldn't watch it again.
